Advent and Christmas at St. Paul’s

Please join us at our Advent and Christmas services! Friends, family, newcomers, visitors, and neighbors are all warmly welcome, either in the sanctuary or livestreamed from home.

Throughout the season of Advent, we invite you to participate in our Advent Giving Tree, providing financial support for missions and ministries both local and around the world.

Saturday, December 2: Advent Fair
Our annual parish holiday fair, now back in person at the church, from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Come shop for your favorites: gorgeous gift baskets, handmade crafts, country kitchen goodies, a raffle, silent auction, and more!

Sunday, December 3: First Sunday of Advent
10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist in person and live-streamed on YouTube.

Sunday, December 10: Second Sunday of Advent / Lessons & Carols Service
10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist in person and live-streamed on YouTube. Pageant rehearsal during the service for children and youth.
5:30 p.m. Advent Lessons & Carols. A festive and reflective service featuring string quartet, adult & youth choirs, & nine Biblical and other readings about Advent! 

Sunday, December 17: Third Sunday of Advent / Pageant & Caroling
10:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist and Pageant in person and live-streamed on YouTube. 
4:00 p.m. All-Parish Caroling! Meet at church and travel to sing for parishioners at Carleton Willard and elsewhere.

Sunday, December 24: Fourth Sunday of Advent / Christmas Eve
10:00 a.m. Quiet Holy Eucharist in person and live-streamed on YouTube.

4:00 p.m. Family Service of Holy Eucharist with Youth Choir and Carols 
A festive communion service for all ages, similar to our Sunday morning format, with familiar carols led by our Youth Choir, a Christmas sermon by Rev. Chris, Holy Communion, and candlelit signing of “Silent Night.” This service is expected to last one hour and will be live-streamed.

9:00 p.m. Festival Service of Holy Eucharist with Adult Choir and Carols
A nighttime service featuring carol singing led by our adult choir, Christmas sermon from Rev. Chris, and candlelit singing of “Silent Night.” A musical prelude with organ and strings will precede this service, beginning around 8:45 p.m. for those who arrive a little early.  This service is expected to last an hour. 

Monday, December 25: Holy Eucharist for Christmas Day with Carols
10:00 a.m. Join Rev. Thea for a fun and joyful Christmas Day Eucharist.
