We are a spiritually and socially active Christian community that celebrates our faith and welcomes newcomers with enthusiasm and friendship. Our mission is best expressed through the Collect for St. Paul's, which we proclaim every Sunday:
"Ever-loving and nurturing God, who has called everyone into community: Grant that St. Paul's may continue to be a place of welcome, comfort, and strength. Give us courage and compassion as we grow, and keep us always in relationship with you and with one another. All this we ask through Your Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord."
We look forward to welcoming you to our church community.
What's New at St. Paul's?
Sunday, September 5, will be the last day of our summer schedule of 9:00am worship. Our 10:00am schedule will resume on September 12.
Sunday School and Catechesis registration will be held after church on September 12. The first day of class will be September 19. The middle school youth group kicks off their year with a pizza party at 5:00pm on September 12, and the high school youth group will have its kickoff meeting at 5:30pm on September 26.
The adult and children's choirs will begin rehearsals after Labor Day. The adult choir rehearses Thursday evenings at 7:00pm, beginning September 9, and Sunday mornings at 9:00am, beginning September 12. The children's choir rehearses after church on Sundays, beginning September 12.
Our homecoming potluck brunch will be held after church on Sunday, September 19. Please join us to share food and fellowship as we come back together after a wonderful summer. A signup sheet is posted on the bulletin board, so we'll know who's coming and what you plan to bring.
We are delighted welcome Rev. Margaret Schwarzer as our interim priest. Margaret will be with us on a part-time basis, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the office, and Sundays for worship and through the early afternoon. Please join us in welcoming Margaret to her new ministry at St. Paul's!
As we begin our search for a new rector, we have established a Rector Search page, which will be updated regularly during our interim period with information for applicants and parishioners.
In the absence of a full-time rector, the wardens become the leaders of the parish. Please feel free to contact Emily Mitchell or Paul Ciaccia, co-wardens, with any questions about St. Paul's.
